"Butchie" was my daughter, Kristen's, best friend and almost brother.  Butchie arrived in our lives at a time when we had been transplanted to South Carolina by way of Ohio and Illinois. Butchie helped Kristen's transition from "the North" to the genteelness of the South.on  During those years I was a professor at Clemson University.    "Johnny" (Connemara's Espirit) was out first show puppy following the rearing of three children, finishing a graduate degree, and following the university sojourn from Ohio to Illinois, to South Carolina, to New York State, back to South Carolina, and home to Ohio.  Marion and Larry Hughes (ConnemarBoxers) bred and co-owned "Johnny" with me. Sadly, "Johnny's" untimely death occurred when he was only 11 months old. "Johnny" with his Mom Ch. Syrr Run's Omega Connemara winning the Brood bitch class at the ABC in 2002    "Nicky" (CH. Cardone's Vanzetti x Hillcircle's Black Rhapsody) graduating from Pilot Dogs, Columbus, Ohio in 1984.
